Team Manager Code of Conduct

This Team Manager Code of Conduct (“Code”) applies to all team managers, coaches, owners, and authorised team representatives (“Managers”) participating in Organizer-operated tournaments (“Tournament”).

Managers must agree to and comply with this Code as a condition of participation.

This Code applies to all Tournament-related activities, including online play, LAN events, registration, roster management, media interactions, sponsor relations, and communications with officials.

Breaches may result in disciplinary action under the Sanctions & Disciplinary Framework.


1. Core Responsibilities

Managers must:

  • uphold the integrity and reputation of the Tournament
  • act honestly and in good faith
  • supervise players and team staff
  • ensure compliance with all tournament rules
  • prevent misconduct and corruption
  • cooperate with officials and investigators

Managers are accountable for ensuring their team understands and follows all integrity and conduct obligations.


2. Governance & Compliance

Managers must:

  • submit accurate registration and roster information
  • respect roster locks and eligibility rules
  • notify officials of substitutions or emergencies promptly
  • ensure only authorised persons communicate with referees
  • comply with deadlines and administrative requirements
  • distribute integrity briefings and policy updates to players

3. Anti-Corruption & Betting Restrictions

Managers must not:

  • bet on Tournament events or markets related to them
  • facilitate or encourage betting by players or third parties
  • share non-public competitive or operational information
  • accept inducements linked to results or betting outcomes
  • engage in collusion, bribery, or manipulation

Managers must actively prevent corruption within their teams.


4. Disclosure Obligations

Managers must disclose promptly:

  • conflicts of interest
  • financial interests in other teams
  • relationships with betting operators or affiliates
  • sponsorship agreements affecting competitive integrity
  • approaches seeking inside information
  • suspected rule breaches by team members

Failure to disclose is itself a breach.


5. Supervision & Duty of Care

Managers must:

  • educate players on integrity obligations
  • monitor behaviour and communications
  • intervene where misconduct may occur
  • escalate concerns to the Integrity Officer immediately
  • ensure player wellbeing and safety
  • prevent harassment or discrimination within the team

6. Conduct & Professionalism

Managers must:

  • communicate respectfully with officials and staff
  • refrain from abusive or threatening behaviour
  • avoid public criticism that undermines Tournament integrity
  • not pressure officials or attempt to influence rulings
  • ensure orderly behaviour at venues

7. Media & Public Communications

Managers must:

  • ensure public statements are accurate and responsible
  • avoid spreading confidential information
  • not incite harassment or controversy
  • comply with broadcast and sponsor obligations
  • prevent players from making damaging public disclosures

8. Cheating, Exploits & Systems Abuse

Managers must not:

  • assist or conceal cheating
  • direct players to exploit bugs
  • bypass monitoring tools
  • interfere with referees or broadcast systems
  • tamper with equipment

Managers must report suspected cheating immediately.


9. Cooperation With Investigations

Managers must:

  • cooperate fully with integrity investigations
  • ensure players comply with information requests
  • preserve evidence
  • attend hearings or interviews
  • not retaliate against whistleblowers

10. Team Liability

Managers acknowledge that:

  • teams may be sanctioned for systemic failures
  • lack of supervision may result in penalties
  • repeated player offences can escalate sanctions
  • managers may be personally sanctioned

11. Fitness to Act

Managers must:

  • not perform duties while intoxicated
  • comply with venue safety rules
  • respect security procedures
  • maintain professional presentation standards

12. Sanctions

Breaches of this Code may result in:

  • warnings
  • fines
  • match forfeiture
  • disqualification
  • suspension
  • long-term or lifetime bans
  • prize forfeiture
  • reporting to regulators or authorities

Sanctions are imposed under the Sanctions & Disciplinary Framework.


13. Reporting Integrity Concerns

Managers must immediately report:

  • suspicious approaches
  • betting-related activity
  • inside-information requests
  • threats or coercion
  • player misconduct
  • rule violations

14. Amendment

This Code may be updated periodically.

Material changes will be published on the Organizer’s website and incorporated into Tournament documentation.
